KidsMonitor: family safety, out in the open.
Two apps that work together. Parents see location, screen time and app use, approve new apps and get SOS alerts in real time. The child's app stays visible on the phone, because safety works better when kids know it's there.
How it works
- A parent app with a dashboard for each child.
- A visible child app that pairs with the parent using a 6-digit code.

Where it stands
KidsMonitor passed a full end-to-end test on a real phone in September 2026: the block screen, SOS alerts, app approvals and location all worked. We're now preparing it for Google Play's family and parental-control policies before public release.
What we learned building it
Two apps that talk to each other in real time need a careful backend. KidsMonitor uses Firebase for live alerts and pairing, and Android foreground services so alerts arrive even when the app is closed. It's the same real-time work we bring to client portals and SaaS products.

Is KidsMonitor available yet?
Not yet. It's in development and has passed its first full test on a real phone. We'll publish it on Google Play once it meets Google's rules for family and parental-control apps.
Is the child app hidden?
No. The child app is visible on the phone by design. KidsMonitor is built for open family safety, not secret monitoring.
What will it do?
Show the child's location, screen time and app use to the parent, let the parent approve new apps, and send an instant alert to the parent when the child presses SOS.
