AI calling agent ยท Pakistan
An AI calling agent that answers and makes your calls.
Awaaz picks up every call on your SIM and WhatsApp in Urdu, then calls people back: missed calls, undecided leads, tomorrow's appointments and your own customer list. Press play to hear a real call.
A real, unedited call to our demo line, recorded on 1 October 2026. The business is a demo company; the caller is a tester from our side.
Awaaz by OMA Tech Studio is an AI calling agent built in Lahore for Pakistani businesses. It answers incoming calls on the business's own Jazz, Zong, Ufone or Telenor SIM and on WhatsApp, in Urdu and English, 24 hours a day. It also makes outgoing calls: it calls back missed calls within about 2 minutes, follows up undecided leads, reminds booked customers a day ahead and calls the business's own customer list within set hours. Plans start at Rs 20,000 a month for 300 minutes.
Counted from our own call logs on 1 October 2026, across the live business lines and demo lines we run in Lahore and Murree. Test calls are included.
What an AI calling agent does, in and out
A receptionist only waits for the phone to ring. A calling agent also picks up the phone itself. Awaaz does both on one line, and every call ends up in the same dashboard.
| Call | Direction | When it happens | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| New enquiry | Incoming | Any time, 24/7, on your SIM or WhatsApp | Name, need, budget and a booked visit |
| Missed call | Outgoing | About 2 minutes after a call you couldn't take | The caller back on the line before they try someone else |
| Follow-up | Outgoing | When an undecided lead said "call me later" | A yes, a no, or a new time |
| Reminder | Outgoing | The day before a booked visit or appointment | Fewer no-shows, and a reschedule if they can't come |
| Your customer list | Outgoing | Within the hours and daily limit you set | Answers from every customer, recorded |
How outbound calling works
- You give it a list. A spreadsheet of your own customers or enquiries: name, number and a short note, like "asked about 10 marla last week".
- You set the rules. Calling hours (9 am to 9 pm by default), a daily limit, and the days it shouldn't call.
- It calls from your number. The customer sees your business SIM, not a strange number from abroad, so more of them pick up.
- It talks, then reports. Every call is recorded with a transcript. Bookings, "call later" and "not interested" are sorted for you.
- You can pause it any time from the dashboard, and it won't call the same number twice from a fresh list within 14 days.
Who shouldn't use one
If you plan to buy a list of strangers' numbers and blast them, don't. People hang up, they complain, and your number gets marked as spam. We only set it up to call people who've already dealt with you.
It's also the wrong tool for sales that need a long, careful conversation, like a contract that's negotiated over weeks. There, use it to book the meeting and let a person take it from there.
What people say when an AI calls them.
An outgoing call is harder than an incoming one: the person didn't expect it. These are the replies it has to handle in the first ten seconds.
“Abhi busy hun, baad mein karein”
Doesn't push. It asks what time suits them, books that callback and calls again then.
“Aap kaun?”
Says who it's calling from and why, in one line: you asked about a plot, or you have a visit booked tomorrow.
“Mera number kahan se mila?”
Tells the truth: they enquired, booked or bought from you before. That's why we only call your own customers.
“Kya aap AI ho?”
Doesn't pretend. If someone asks directly, it says it's the business's AI assistant and carries on helping.
“Kal gyarah baje call karna”
Turns a loose time into a fixed slot, checks your calendar is free and confirms it back.
“Mujhe interest nahi hai”
Thanks them, ends the call politely and marks the lead as not interested.

Every call it makes lands in front of you.
Outbound calls get the same treatment as incoming ones: a WhatsApp summary for anything that needs you, a recording and transcript for everything else. You can listen to exactly what it said to your customer.
- Answers calls on your existing SIM number and on WhatsApp
- Every call recorded, with a written transcript in your dashboard
- Missed calls called back within about 2 minutes
- Only says what you've given it: your fees, timings and address
How we set it up
- We learn your business: your services, prices, timings, address, and the reason it's calling people back.
- We set it up online on the number your customers already know, plus your business WhatsApp, over a WhatsApp video call.
- You test it first. You call it, and it calls you, until you're happy with how it sounds. Then we switch on the outbound calls.
Start with incoming, add outgoing
Most businesses get the quickest win from missed-call callbacks, because those people were already trying to reach you. Reminders come next. A list of old customers is the last thing to switch on, once you trust how it talks.

FAQ
About the calling agent.
Can the AI make outgoing calls, or only answer?
Both. It answers incoming calls and makes outgoing ones: missed-call callbacks, follow-ups, reminders before appointments and calls to your own customer list, within the hours you choose.
Which number does the customer see?
Your own business SIM number. It calls from the phone line we set up for you, so customers see a Pakistani number they may already have saved.
Can it make WhatsApp calls?
It answers WhatsApp calls on your business WhatsApp. Outgoing WhatsApp calls are kept to a small number each day, because WhatsApp limits them, so most outgoing calls go over the SIM.
How many calls can it make in a day?
One line handles one call at a time. On our busiest day so far our lines handled 194 calls. You set a daily limit for outgoing calls, and a gap between them, so it never floods your customers.
Is it allowed to call customers with AI in Pakistan?
Call people who've given you their number: enquiries, bookings, customers. Don't call bought lists. If a person asks, it tells them it's an AI assistant. For anything specific to your industry, check with your own adviser.
How much does an AI calling agent cost in Pakistan?
Awaaz is Rs 20,000 a month for 300 minutes or Rs 30,000 for 700 minutes, incoming and outgoing together, plus a one-time setup of Rs 15,000 to 20,000. Extra minutes are Rs 25. See how that compares.
