Setup options ยท Updated 4 October 2026

One AI receptionist, five ways to plug it in.

A clinic that gets one call at a time and a restaurant that gets ten at dinner need different phone setups. The AI is the same. What changes is how the calls reach it. Pick the one that matches your busiest hour.

Short answer Count your busiest hour

One call at a time: your own SIM. Two to four at once: busy-call forwarding. Ten or more: a business phone line. Customers abroad: a UK or US number.

Every option keeps the number your customers already know.

"On request" means we set it up for your business after a call with you, rather than switching it on from the dashboard. Ask us how long it'll take for yours.

1. Your own SIM Live now

๐Ÿ“ž 1 call at a time๐Ÿท๏ธ Shops, clinics, estate agents, schools

The AI answers on the Jazz, Zong, Ufone or Telenor number you already have. We fit a small audio link between that phone and a computer at your office, and the AI talks to the caller through it, in Urdu or English, 24 hours a day.

A phone SIM can only carry one call at a time. That's true for a person too. If a second person calls while the AI is busy, it calls them back about 2 minutes after the first call ends, before they've tried someone else.

What you need: an Android phone that stays on charge at the office, the cable we provide, and Wi-Fi.

2. WhatsApp calls Live now

๐Ÿ“ž 1 call per WhatsApp number๐Ÿท๏ธ Anyone customers call on WhatsApp

Plenty of Pakistani customers call on WhatsApp, not the SIM. The AI answers voice calls on your WhatsApp Business number on the same phone, so both kinds of call get picked up. More on that in WhatsApp AI call agent.

3. Busy-call forwarding On request

๐Ÿ“ž 2 to 4 calls at once๐Ÿท๏ธ Restaurants, hotels, busy clinics

Your number stays exactly the same. You switch on "forward when busy" on it with one code. While the AI is on a call, the next caller is passed to a second line instead of hearing a busy tone, and that line has its own AI agent too.

  1. We tell you how many lines you need from your busiest hour. Two or three covers most single-branch restaurants.
  2. You dial the forwarding code on your business phone. On Pakistani networks it's **67*number# for busy, and ##002# turns all forwarding off again.
  3. Every line feeds one dashboard, so orders and bookings from all of them land in the same place, with recordings.

Good to know: your operator charges the forwarded part of the call like a normal call from your SIM. Ask your network for its rate.

4. Business phone line, 10+ calls at once On request

๐Ÿ“ž 10 or more calls at once๐Ÿท๏ธ Restaurants with a 111 number, chains, call-heavy brands

This is the setup for a dinner rush. Instead of a phone on a desk, calls come in over a business phone line that carries many calls at once. Each caller gets their own AI agent, so the tenth person doesn't wait for the first nine.

There are two ways to get there in Pakistan:

  • A business line from a licensed operator such as PTCL, Nayatel or Wateen, or your existing 111 (UAN) number. You order the channels you need, and we connect them.
  • Your existing PTCL landlines. If you already have several lines, a small type-approved gateway connects them to the AI. Nothing changes for your callers.

We don't use multi-SIM "SIM boxes". PTA requires type approval for them and blocks SIMs that look like grey traffic, and we won't put your number at risk.

What you need: the line itself, ordered in your business's name (we help you ask for the right thing), and Wi-Fi or a wired connection at the office.

5. International number On request

๐Ÿ“ž 10 or more calls at once๐Ÿท๏ธ Businesses in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, UAE and Saudi Arabia

For clients abroad, we connect a local phone number in your country straight to the AI. Your customers dial a normal local number, and the AI answers in English or Urdu, any time of day.

  • UK, US, Canada, Australia: we set up a local number for you, or you forward your existing one to it.
  • UAE and Saudi Arabia: keep your own number from your local operator and forward it. Local virtual numbers there cost a lot and often can't take calls from mobiles.

Same AI, whichever line you pick

The setup only changes how calls arrive. Everything else stays the same on every option:

  • It speaks Urdu and English, and learns your menu, prices, rooms or services.
  • Every call is recorded, with a transcript, in one dashboard.
  • Orders, bookings and anything urgent reach you on WhatsApp.
  • Missed calls get a call back, and booked customers get a reminder.

You can start small and move up. Lots of businesses begin on their own SIM, then add lines once they see how many calls they were missing.

FAQ

About the setup options.

How many calls can the AI answer at the same time?

It depends on the line, not the AI. On a single phone SIM it's one call at a time, and a missed caller is called back in about 2 minutes. With extra lines or a business phone line, each call gets its own AI agent, so 10 or more people can be talking to it at once.

Do I have to change my business number?

No. Every setup on this page keeps the number your customers already know. At most, you switch on call forwarding on that number, which takes one code on your phone.

Which setup does a restaurant need?

If you get two or three calls at once at lunch and dinner, start with busy-call forwarding to extra lines. If you run a 111 number or get ten or more calls at a time, use a business phone line. Tell us your busiest hour and we'll size it.

Is a multi-SIM gateway legal in Pakistan?

We don't use SIM boxes. PTA requires type approval for gateways and blocks SIMs that look like grey traffic, so for more than a few lines we use proper business lines from licensed operators, or your existing PTCL landlines.

Can you give me a UK or US number for my business?

Yes. For clients abroad we connect a local UK, US, Canadian or Australian number straight to the AI. In the UAE and Saudi Arabia you keep your own number and forward it to us, because local virtual numbers there are expensive and often can't take mobile callers.

Who pays for the phone line?

You keep paying your own SIM, landline or business line bill to your operator, as you do today. Our monthly plan covers the AI, the minutes it talks, recordings and the dashboard.

Send us your busiest hour on WhatsApp. We'll tell you which line you need, and you can test the AI on a demo number first.
